More pictures from the 4th of July. Yeah yeah, I know I'm behind... :)

"Going to the chapel and we're gonna get married!"

My little sister is getting married! The wedding is next month and will be in Naples, Florida. ROAD TRIP! I can't believe it is right around the corner.

I threw Andrea a bridal shower at Mom and Dad's for our family. We had fun and ate lots of good food and Andrea got a lot of great stuff.

Man, I feel old...

Jayson's Boo-Boo

Jayson got his first major boo-boo the other day. He was holding himself up on our patio furniture between two chairs. Bryson was sitting in one of the chairs. Bryson moved the chair suddenly and Jayson lost his hold and fell face first, hitting his head on the arm of the chair.

It made a pretty big knot (that is still there) and cut the skin a little. It bled immediatly but stopped soon after as it wasn't a deep cut. The bruising mainly is from the knot.

Anyway, he is fine and talks about his "boo-boo on my head" quite often.

The day of the accident.

Day 2

Counting down the days...

I am officially 25 weeks. Hard to believe. At times I feel this pregnancy has flown by and other times it goes by so slow - guess that all depends on my mood and how I'm feeling physically.

I've bought a few things for the baby, which is exciting. And I'm hoping to start the boys' room soon. Then I can focus on the nursery. So much to do!

This picture was taken at 24 weeks.

Bryson's Lemonade Stand

For some reason Bryson wanted to have an apple stand today. Since we don't have any apple trees, I suggested lemonade. So a lemonade stand we made. Bryson wanted to charge 25 cents and called everyone who drove by or stopped "customers." We stayed out for 2 hours and had several people stop. (A special thanks to Troy and Brett for bringing their kids by.)

I can't believe Bryson stayed out that long. First off it was HOT. Secondly, I just didn't think this would hold Bryson's attention for long. But he loved it! When he wasn't up waving at cars or serving lemonade, he was sitting patiently in his chair for cars and walkers.

Bryson was really into it. He waved at every car and asked every walker if he/she wanted lemonade. He wouldn't take no for an answer. If the walkers said they didn't have any money, he told them to go home and get some. I think I have a future salesman on my hands. :) Bryson made a total of $7.50!

The Salesman

We started off using an umbrella to keep the sun off us. It was blistering HOT!

Our operation grew once Dad got home. He got the tent out for us which helped out so much! Ellie came by for a visit and refreshments.

Not sure what Bryson is doing here, but I had to include this picture!

"I'm a big kid now!"

We moved Jayson to a twin bed 2 days ago. Thanks to Daddy Daddy for fixing the head- and footboards! We have the exact bed for Bryson and when Jayson moves into Bryson's room they will have matching beds. And thanks to Aunt Ellene for giving us the beds!

Jayson loves his bed! I am so happy with his transition. He hasn't cried. He stays in bed when it is time to sleep (for the most part anyway). He looks so much older now that he is out of the crib. *sniff sniff*

Another goal down...

Reading a book with Daddy.

The Big Boy

Bryson liked Jayson's bed so much he said he wanted it.

Happy 4th Everyone!

Hope everyone had a happy and safe 4th of July. Was had a big day swimming, eating, playing games, and watching fireworks at my sister-in-law's house. It was HOT HOT HOT. Usually it doesn't bother me and I don't remember it bothering me when I was pregnant with Jayson but it did this year. I spent a lot of time in the shade and indoors. But other than that, we had a blast!

I only have a few pictures to post now (thanks to Jamie) but will have more later...

What will she look like?

I find myself wondering what Baby Addison will look like. Will she look anything like her brothers? Will she have a head-full of hair? Will she be 9 lbs like her brothers? (Yep, I like to grow 'em big...)

Here are some pictures of Bryson and Jayson at their births. Guess we'll have to wait on Addison...

Beautiful Burgess Falls

There is a hidden jewel in my homeplace of White County - Burgess Falls State Park. The park sports a picnic area, play area for the kids, a couple of walking trails, and beautiful waterfalls.

On a recent trip to visit Mimi and Papa, we went to the park and enjoyed the water.

Oh, how Bryson wanted to jump right in
and mean ole' mommy wouldn't let him...

How I wish Uncle Kurt had totally busted here...

Me and Jayson look like a couple of ragamuffins!

Codename: Turtle Haven

I think our back yard has unofficially become a haven for turtles. Every time we find a turtle on the road we'll bring him home. There is a fully wooded area and creek backing up to our property, so it is the perfect place for turtles. Here are some pics of a little guy we found in Franklin and relocated to our back yard a few weeks ago.

Addison's Bedding

I am such a weirdo! I have 4 months left in this pregnancy but I am already stressing. Crib bedding, moving Jayson to a big-boy-bed AND into Bryson's room (which will need to be painted because their new bedding doesn't match the current color in the room), painting Addison's room, and potty-training Jayson before this baby comes. But for those who know me well, I guess this isn't a big surprise. I am a mega-planner!

Yesterday I had some time to kill in the Green Hills area so we stopped by Pottery Barn Kids at the mall. I had no intensions of getting anything - just wasting time. But I spotted this lavender and white striped bumper. I found it was on clearance, along with the fitted crib sheet and bed skirt. I couldn't pass it up. And it was exactly what I was looking for - something feminine but not overbearing (especially not pink). No offense to the color pink, I just don't want it in the baby's room. ;)

So one goal down, and many more to go...

My First Baby Gift!

Thanks to my sweet friend Holly for giving me a baby gift today for Addison. It was a nice surprise and much needed. I have nothing for a girl! Thanks again Holly. Love ya!
