First Word

Addison has been babbling for a while now but yesterday she said her first word. And I am proud to announce it was...

MOM.

:)

Today she has said it non-stop. Mom. Mama. Um-ma.

Bryson's Music Video

This is Bryson's directorial and singing debut for a music video. MTV here we come!

I am Mack the Cat I am!

No, it's not a Dr. Suess book. :)
We found a cat, Mack, wandering around our yard one day. We were in and out all day and it was nice outside so we had the doors open. Mack went inside our house and made himself at home. We put him outside for the evening thinking he would return to his house.

Mack was still around the next morning. We took note of his name and phone number on his collar. The next time we saw him he had lost his collar so we brought him inside until we were able to get in touch with the owner. During that time he made himself at home and the boys just LOVED him. I was a little nervous aobut Bryson being around the cat, but he able to touch him without his allergies acting up.

Mack's owners came to get him the evening of the 2nd day. We will miss Mack!

Ahhhhhhh, blissful sleep!

Addison slept from 8:30 pm tunil 6:00 am 2 night ago!!! Now if we can just get her to do it on a regular basis...

Egg Hunt

Thanks to Matt, Missy, Maymie and Madden for having us over for an egg hunt and playdate.

Holly (with baby Brooklyn still holding on) and Jamie.

Sister

Max - the child just won't show any teeth.
He just won't do it no matter how goofy you act to get him to smile!

Lucas and Carson

Caymin, Bryson and Jayson

Missy had some really yummy treats for the kiddos!

It was so cold and of course I didn't bring Addison a jacket so
she was wrapped in the blanket the entire time.

Lucas wanted in on the picture!

Ready to go!

The Easter Bunny stopped by for a visit. Jayson wouldn't get near him!

I don't need any Easter candy. I've got all the sweetness right here!!!

Easter Morning

We woke up Easter morning to find the Easter Bunny had left a ton of eggs in our den and in the front yard. The boys had fun finding all of them!

We also took a few Easter pictures before church. This was a special day (aside from the obvious) as it was Addison's first Easter.

Addison' Easter Dress

Jayson finding eggs. He needed a little help on this one.

Bryson finding eggs while attempting to watch cartoons. Tough to do!

Jayson - cheesing with the best of them!

Bryson - seeker of Easter eggs.

Addison found some eggs too!

Which egg do I want???

Wow, there's more eggs outside!

Me and My Baby Girl

The Treehouse

Bryson and Jayson have asked from time to time if we could build a treehouse. I never dreamed that we would or even could in our backyard. Just wasn't sure if we had the right trees to do it.

Addison and I went shopping one day and when we got home lo and behold Jay and the boys are building a treehouse. I was surprised at first but really if anyone can build it, it would be Jay. He is an engineer after all!
It is a work in progress but here are some pictures of our first stage of production!

Jayson's Hearing Test

If you recall Jayson had tubes put in his ears to help fluid drain. The fluid was causing mild hearing loss. So now that his ears are clear we had his hearing retested.

He did great. I was able to stay in the room with him. (I also had Bryson and Addison with me...) Jayson sat and followed directions and looked like such a big boy. He is getting so big! He still had some mild hearing loss in the high range but everything else was above normal. Normal is 20 decibels and he was in the 10-15 range. In the high range he was at 30. We were told this was nothing that needed to be corrected. So Jayson is good to go!!!

As a special treat we went to Chuck E. Cheese afterwards. (It was also Bryson's Spring Break.)

Jay and I joke that maybe getting the tubes was a bad idea because now Jayson won't shut up! He talks CONSTANTLY! :)
