Andrea and Ensley's Wedding Reception

As you may remember, my sister got married in Naples, Florida, last month. They had the reception yesterday at Ensley's aunt and uncle's house in the Nashville area. Everything looked nice and was set up perfect. They had Caribbean style food (yum!), the main cake was carrot cake, and they had the traditional chocolate cake for the groom with a hint of raspberry (double yum!). They had pictures from the wedding playing on a projector screen for everyone to watch and live music. It was a fun time!

It's hard to believe they've already been married for a month. Where does the time go???

The groom's cake and cupcakes for the kiddies.

The main cake.

Me and my lil' sis.

Andrea had beach balls everywhere and of course my boys had to fight over the same one.

Me, my mom, and aunts Patty, Diana, and Ruth.

Me and my friend Scarlett. (Our dads worked together at the post office for years.)

This indoor exercise pool was the first thing the boys spotted. Bryson just had to have a picture by it!

Jayson playing kickball with Papa.

Aunt Ellene brought the boys bubble wands which was a BIG HIT!

Ensley saying a few words and giving a toast in remembrance of his grandmother (who passed away a few days before).

Kurt, Andrea and Bryson during the toast.

Kissy Kissy!

Jayson and Papa shaking a leg to the music!

Cutting the cake.

There was no cake shoved to the face. Bummer! But Andrea did wipe some icing on Ensley's nose...

Who ya with - VU!

We took the boys to the Vandy vs. Rice football game a few weeks ago. Vandy won! They are currently 4-0 and ranked 21 in the nation! I think it is the first time they've been ranked nationally in 20 years.

Anyway, it was hot and I was pretty uncomfortable. Needless to say I will not attend another football game this year... But the boys had a great time and Jayson keeps asking to go back to the "ballgame."

Baby Shower for Addison

Lots going on. Lots going on. Sorry it has taken me so long to update my blog. I've been in the process of fixing the boys' room and the nursery. And they still aren't completely done! So I've been a little busy to say the least.

Okay, my friends Jamie, Julie and Holly threw me a baby shower/girls night out at Pie in the Sky a couple of weeks ago. We had a great time and the food was awesome! I got a ton of cute stuff and am so excited to finally have a room to put in it. Better yet, I can't wait to use it!

The Mole

And no I'm not talking about an internal spy... :)

The boys found yet another creature in our backyard. This one happened to be dead thanks to a mole trap set by Dad. Dead or not the boys were INTERESTED.

Jay's Work Picnic

Jay's work had a company picnic Friday. Bryson was in school and missed the fun. And I say fun lightly - it was HOT. Being 8 months pregnant in 90 degree heat is no picnic in my book. :)

Jayson had fun with his friend Ellie and the men-folk had a good ole game of kickball.

Checking out the local foliage.

Just a swingin'!

Harvey - the boss! (Who is a bigger kid than any at Jay's work.)

Candid moment!

Bryson's First Soccer Game

Sorry I am so behind on my blog!

Bryson's team won their first soccer game 9-1. Bryson had 2 shots at the goal, barely missing both. He was right in the thick of things the entire game and had several assists to his teammate Julian (a.k.a. Superstar). We could tell about half-way through the game he started dragging and looked tired. He had just finished his first full week of school and was worn out! But he had fun and was excited that they won!

Mimi and Papa came to watch as did Mee-Maw, Daddy-Daddy, Uncle Brett, Aunt Jill, Aidan (who played that day as well) and Avery.

One of his two attempts to score.

Bryson is on the far right. He is cheering for his buddy Julian who just scored a goal.
(Julian scored 8 of our 9 goals.)
