Surf's Up Dude!

Just got back from the beach yesterday. We went with Jay's entire family. Had 8 adults and 7 kids (with one in the oven). :) We stayed at The Adagio at Blue Mountain Beach, near Destin. Had a great time. Was very relaxing. We spent all day either at the beach or at the pool. We went out to eat a few nights and then stayed in and fixed dinner a few nights. My favorite place, and it has yet to be topped, is The Red Bar. They have the best chicken!

We have a few exciting events. Dean got stung by a jellyfish that sent him to the room for a few hours. Jayson got a tenticle wrapped around his foot the last night we were playing on the beach. I don't think it got him too good and we applied vinegar asap so he didn't cry too long. Needless to say, there were a lot of jellyfish on this trip. Bryson tried his hand at boogeyboarding and loved the waves. And Brett once again proved why he does NOT need to sunbathe.

Someone call the Coast Guard! There is a beached WHALE!!! Oh...wait... That's just me.

A Kodak Moment!

Bryson and his prize, a jellyfish.
Notice the tenticles hanging outside the net.
We think one of these got wrapped around Jayson's foot.

My Family

Pink, Pink, and more Pink

Well, looks like I'm moving into the world of blues and greens to PINK. We found out last week we will be blessed with a little girl this November! Bryson wanted a girl, so looks like he got his wish. When we told him what "it" was, he said, "Yes, I knew it!"

Now the next tasks are to potty-train Jayson and eventually get him into a big-boy bed and into Bryson's room. The boys will share a room with 2 twin beds and Little Miss will have Jayson's old room. That actually scares me more than a newborn. She'll be a piece of cake. The challenge will be Bryson AND Jayson in the same room. Oh boy...

Baseball Post-Season Pizza Party

One of Bryson's teammates was kind enough to invite the team to his house for a swimming pizza party. The kids had a blast. Jayson was able to hold his own in the pool. :)

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Bryson's team played in the championship game today, coming in second. His team won the regular season and actually beat this team during the season, but it was not meant to be this time. The final score was 16-17. It was an awesome game, coming down to the very end.

Who knew Jayson had such moves?!?

Just a sneak peek at what I have to deal with in a normal day... ;)

Can we win the $100,000 on AFV???

This is just too funny not to share. Classic Bryson! I hope you can see it. This was originally filmed on a videocam and then we filmed it with a digital cam from the tv. It will have a lot of lines in it but it is just too good not to post.

Bryson is hitting a golf ball in the back yard with the golf clubs he got for Christmas. Watch the ball closely...

Swimming With the Fishies!

We took the boys to the lake this past weekend. We had a great first hour and the next 2 hours was awful. After working completely fine, we stopped for lunch and when it was time to start the boat up again it would not work. After being stranded for 30 minutes we finally decided to flag someone down. The family was so nice - they towed our boat to the nearest dock and then took us back to our car. The boys were great through the entire thing so it could have been a lot worse. After it was all said and done we found the boat had a bad battery!

Jay and Bryson did some jumping off the cliffs and Jayson tested out is swimming ability in the deep deep water. (Hope those floaties don't have holes in them!)

Belly Shots

It is hard to believe I am already 18 weeks along in this pregnancy. Almost half-way there! We'll find out what we are having in 2 weeks, Lord willing.
